Charlotte Call Gallery is forthcoming contemporary art space in Los Angeles. Opening in September 2026 on North Western Avenue in one of the city’s most vibrant gallery districts, the gallery will present solo and group shows featuring emerging and established artists, from past and present. Our mission is to produce exhibitions that spark connection and meaning, bringing artists and the community together around ideas that resonate.
The project started life as Sapling in Mayfair, London in 2021, showcasing contemporary artists as well as canonical figures such as Albrecht Dürer, Lee Miller, and Gilbert & George. Sapling continues as a curatorial program focused on environmental discourse.
Charlotte Call is a curator and art advisor. Previously Associate Director at Nahmad Projects, she produced exhibitions of modern masters including Marie Laurencin's first solo presentation in London since 1946, and contemporary-historic pairings such as Urs Fischer with Max Ernst and Yves Tanguy. After graduating from Art History at the University of Cambridge, she trained at Dominique Lévy Gallery (now LGDR) and at Christie's Post-War and Contemporary in London.
